How do I make a booking?
To book your inflatable, from fun bouncy hire please call us on 07534 685578, fill in the form in the contact us section or email us at funbouncyhire@gmail.com
What does the price include?
The price includes delivery and set up, dismantling and collection, rental of the inflatable for 1 day (we drop off between 8am and 12 noon and collect at up to 7pm), blower, 20 or 50 metre extension cable, safety mats and anchor stakes or sandbags (depending on surface) . The unit is rented to you unsupervised by us i.e. you will be responsible for the safe use. Should you require one of our staff to remain on site to supervise, please contact us for a quote.
How far in advance should I book?
To save disappointment and to bounce and have fun safely, book as early as possible as our inflatables book out quickly.
How do we pay?
Payment can be made in CASH on the day or by cheque 10 days prior to delivery to allow for bank clearance.
Is VAT applicable or included to the prices on the site?
No, being a small business VAT is not applicable and so the prices you see on the website are the prices you pay.
Can you provide an Invoice / Receipt for my hire?
Yes we run everything 100% above board and should you need a receipt or invoice simply let us know and one will be issued on delivery.
What happens if it’s raining on the day?
Our castles come with built in roofs to protect from light drizzle (and even sun burn). We also offer a free rain cancellation option allowing you in the event of rain to cancel up to 8:00am on the day of hire. You MUST call on the number above by 8:00am to avoid a cancellation charge.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We offer a free of charge cancellation option in the event of heavy rain or high winds if the booking is outside. To take advantage of this option the hirer must telephone us no later than 8:00am on the day of hire. If the booking is cancelled for any other reason, 24 hours notice is required or a cancellation charge of 50% of the total hire price will apply to cover the costs involved for administration and loss of booking.
Can we hire more than one bouncy castle?
Yes, that sounds like fun. Please contact us for a discount and to check stock availability.
What type of event can your inflatable be hired for?
Almost any event, including Weddings, Childrens parties, Functions, Barbeques, School fetes, Corporate Promotions, Scouts, Guides, fund raising events and any other event where fun is required!
What sort of surface do I need for an inflatable?
Inflatables can be situated on either grass, concrete or indoors however we do need a relative flat surface. Flat Grassed areas are the most suitable. The space required needs to be free from any sharp objects, loose gravel, chippings, Dog droppings, trees, washing lines and plants etc. We require 2ft extra either side of the inflatable and about 5ft in front to make it easy for use and safe for children either entering or exiting the Inflatable and 5ft behind the inflatable for the blower.
Once you arrive how long does it take to set up and dismantle?
Please ensure we have clear access to deliver the inflatable and ideally parking facilities., It normally takes between 20 to 30 minutes to set up and the same to pack away.
Are you reliable, professional and most importantly child friendly?
Definitely!! We have children and grandchildren of our own and know how important the combination of fun and safety are!
Are your Bouncy Castles and Slides available all year round?
Yes, we can provide you with a fun inflatable for indoor or outdoor use so you can bounce throughout the year.
Are you Insured?
Yes, we are fully covered for public liability.
A copy of our certification is available on request.
Please note however that the hirer is fully responsible AT ALL TIMES for the supervision of the children on the inflatable and the condition the castle is maintained in. A copy of our terms and conditions can be viewed in the T&C section of our website
How do we collect the Castles from you?
Our prices included delivery, setting up and dismantling by our uniformed staff.
For your child’s safety, we do not allow any of our units to be erected by anyone but ourselves.
What age group are the castles suitable?
We have castles for infants, children (up to the age of 12) and adults. It is important you choose the right castle for the age groups attending your party as it can be dangerous for adults to use children’s inflatables. We will be happy to advise you on suitability if you need help.
Are your Inflatables clean and tidy?
Yes they are, all our current stock items were bought in 2011 and are cleaned prior to you using them. If it does get dirty we would ask you please to clean and leave the inflatable in the same condition you received it.
When are we able to start bouncing?
We try and operate a logistical route so will deliver between 8am and 12 noon. If your event has an exact starting time we would always work around this to suit your needs! We always will confirm drop off and collection times with you the day before your hire. Please call us to discuss your needs if you have a precise time requirement before 12noon.
Are your inflatables available overnight?
Yes they are at an additional cost of £25.00 we can pick up your inflatable the next morning. We will confirm the pick up time on drop off, but somebody must be available to give us access from 8am. Just ensure that the electrical equipment is placed indoors over night when you have finished with the castle.
Once the Bouncy Castle is erected can we move it?
NO, DEFINITELY NOT, The Public Liability Insurance would be invalidated and it could be very dangerous to both the people moving it and the children bouncing on it.
Is your equipment safety tested?
Yes all our inflatables have safety certificates and the blowers and extension leads all have RCD plugs fitted. It is also our policy not to have any tatty castles in our stock. We always supply safety mats with every inflatable and require that the hirer reads and signs our Disclaimer and Agreement Form prior to use of the inflatable. This will ensure that you know how to safely supervise the operation of the unit whilst in your care.
How does the castle stay up?
By an electrical blower, which stays on all the time the inflatable is in use. We provide 20 metres of extension cable so please ensure you have a 13amp electrical socket available. If a power supply is not available a generator can be supplied at a small additional cost. Please inform us if you require a generator when booking as we only hold a small stock of these.
